These terms are an agreement between you and Zodact Health Private Limited ("Zodact", "we"), Hyderabad, Telangana, India. By using the Zodact app, clinic.zodact.com or zodact.com you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Zodact.
1. What Zodact is
Zodact is software. It helps clinics register patients, run queues, record prescriptions and invoices, and helps patients keep their records and consult their doctors. Zodact does not provide medical care. Doctors and clinics are responsible for diagnosis, treatment and every medical decision.
Zodact is not for emergencies. In an emergency, call 108 or 112, or go to the nearest hospital.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. A parent or guardian may register a child as a family member and is responsible for that child's use.
3. Your account
Patients and doctors sign in with a one-time code sent to their phone. A clinic may create your patient account when you visit, using the phone number you give. Keep your phone secure: anyone who can receive your codes can open your account. Give accurate information and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
4. Clinics and their staff
- The clinic is responsible for what its staff enter, including that a typed-up prescription matches the prescription the doctor signed.
- Each staff member uses their own account. The clinic removes access when someone leaves.
- The clinic must have a lawful basis, such as consent, to record its patients' data in Zodact.
- A clinic can ask for a copy of its records when it stops using Zodact.
5. Doctors
Doctors must hold a valid registration with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council and keep it current. Video consultations must follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. A doctor may ask a patient to visit in person whenever a video consultation is not enough.
6. Prescriptions and AI
AI-drafted prescriptions are suggestions for the doctor, who must review and approve them. Nothing drafted by AI reaches a patient without that approval. The Telugu copy of a prescription is a translation for convenience; the English page is the official record.
7. Fees and payments
- Patients: consultation fees are set by the doctor or clinic and shown before you pay. Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Free follow-ups follow the policy of the clinic you visited.
- Cancellations: if you cancel a paid booking, a convenience fee may be deducted and the rest refunded to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
- Clinics: Zodact is free for the first 6 months. After that it costs ₹2,000 a month for clinics with 1 to 2 doctors and ₹3,000 a month for 3 to 5 doctors, plus applicable taxes. We will remind you at least 30 days before the first charge, and you can stop before then.
8. Acceptable use
Do not give false information, pretend to be a doctor or someone else, access another person's data without permission, copy or scrape the service, or try to break its security.
9. Your data
Your health data belongs to you. How we handle it is described in our privacy policy.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Zodact available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features, and will give clinics reasonable notice of changes that affect their daily work. We will post changes to these terms on this page.
11. Liability
Zodact is not liable for medical advice or treatment given by doctors or clinics, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid Zodact in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12. Ending use
You can stop using Zodact at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts patients at risk.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.
